Q:
Is it difficult to schedule an appointment to
talk about my ideas?
A: No.
The initial meeting is free and all you need do
is call or email me and I will respond within
24hrs.
Q:
Is it expensive to
have a mural painted?
A: No not at all. Many of my murals are very
reasonable and I am very good at keeping your
budget in mind when I work out the logistics
and materials of a job.
Q:
What is the process
of starting a project?
A: First I sit down with you to discuss the
ideas you have. Then I work up samples. These
are done in color and to scale, usually in
watercolor. I take a digital photo of the area
for the mural and when I finish a sample or two
I marry that with the photo to give you an
excellent idea as to how the mural will work in
the area you choose.
Then we meet again and go over my
ideas and yours. I make minor adjustments and
then I collect a 50% deposit to put the project
in the schedule. I include a final sample,
written estimate, and time frame for the project
which you approve before I start. If the
mural is to be shipped and installed by others,
( I have done this a number of times and it
works similarly to wallpaper. I provide all the
instructions for hanging or applying We can
review the samples through email, (pdf
attachments) or snail mail.
Q:
Do you charge for
samples?
A: Yes. I charge a nominal fee that is
absorbed into the final bill.
If for any reason we can't agree on
the project you can cancel and I will refund
50% of the sample fee. Sample fees are in
direct proportion to the complexities of the
assignment.
